Jim Freed is the author of the novels The Illiterate (Thought Catalog Books, 2015) and The Unfulfilled. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, Monkeybicycle, H.O.W. Journal, SPACEY, Stereogum, on NPR (Neighborhood Public Radio) in conjunction with the 2008 Whitney Biennial and elsewhere. He holds a BA from American University and an MFA from the New School. He has curated The Enclave Reading Series since 2006, which Electric Literature called the dirtiest reading series in the city. Since 2011 he has run the paparazzi all over the globe as Deputy Picture Editor at DailyMail.com’s US headquarters in New York.
